This review is long overdue! Me and my wife Veronica purchase our home about 18 years ago and finally retired to Florida from New York last year. One of the most important things we wanted to do was have our home remodeled as it was 18 years old. I was recommended to MVM Custom Homes from a plumber I seen while walking my dog Nuggie about three years ago. His words were you will get value for your money when you deal with MVM. I contacted MVM and spoke with Mike Jr., who came to my home and I told him what my plans were and he gave me some ideas. I kept in touch with MVM for about 3 years until I was ready to retire and start the remodel. Mike Sr. came to the house and we discussed the entire remodel. Mike Sr. is extremely knowledgeable and definitely visualized what I wanted. He is a very patient and compassionate man. We signed the contract and shortly thereafter the work on the house started. MVM treated my remodel as a new build which was something we didn't anticipate but was excited about. This is the third time we are doing a remodel as we did it twice in New York and we knew what we were in for. This was one of the best experiences we ever had. Everyone of the Subcontractors that came into our house were professional and true craftsmen. Watching them work was like watching Leonardo Davinci paint a masterpiece. Stan, who did the floor tiles, Anatoly who did the bathroom tiles, Valentin who is a master cabinetmaker, Vlad who did the painting, Ray who did the electric, Babes Plumbing. Igor who installed the doors and the forman Oleg. Please forgive us if we forgot anyone. By the way Mike's wife Nadia who was extremely helpful, we thank you! We would be remiss if we didn't mention Bob who unfortunately passed away during my remodel. MVM made our house a beautiful home that me and my wife love and will treasure. My home looks brand new thanks to MVM Custom Homes. We can't thank you enough! Another important thing to note is that MVM stands behind everything that they do. Any issues that have come up they addressed them immediately! We highly recommend MVM Custom Homes for your new home or rebuild. We love you guys!

"We were having building contractors submit bids for a detached on an adjacent lot we purchased. Bids were coming in much higher than we were anticipating. We decided to contact land clearing companies to at least clear the lot. One of the companies suggested MVM Custom Homes as his recommendation for the
garage. We contacted the company and Mike and his son Mike came to our home to discuss the specifics. They left with our specifications and returned in a few days with a quote.
We were impressed with the detailed proposal and as a part of the proposal Mike had a detailed payment schedule as part of the proposal which we did not receive from the other companies. Payments were to be made as work was completed through the construction phases. We liked the professionalism of the quote and it was delivered in person so we had an opportunity to discuss and question anything we were not clear on.
The contract was signed and the process began. 3 to 4 weeks for the permitting process and the work began. Mike stopped by to check the contractor’s work he hired in all phases of the construction process. He was almost always available by phone or email if we had questions and often stopped by personally to make sure we were satisfied with the job as it progressed.
On our project everything went very smoothly with two exceptions. The stucco crew did not follow our instructions on a design for the garage front and the electrical seemed to take a long time to complete and some rework had to be done to pass the final electrical inspection. On the other side there were two subcontractors on our project that we felt went above and beyond to please us. Carl’s Land Clearing and Maslo Painting were impressive.
We are very pleased with the end result and feel MVM Custom Homes is a dedicated building contractor that will deliver a quality product."
